Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the CamelBee website, the Initializer and the CamelBee MCP server (together, "the Service"), operated by CamelBee. By using the Service you agree to them.

1. What the Service does

CamelBee generates Apache Camel microservice projects from the options you select — source code, configuration, container definitions and test suites, delivered as a downloadable archive.

2. Accounts and limits

Some features require an account, created through Clerk using Google or GitHub. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. The Service carries limits on how many projects you may generate in a day and how many interfaces and backends a single generation may combine; the current limits are shown in the Initializer and returned by the MCP server, and may change.

3. Your code is yours

You own the projects you generate. We claim no rights over the generated source code, configuration or tests, and no licence back. Use them for any purpose, commercial included, without attribution. Generated projects include third-party open-source components — Apache Camel, Spring Boot, Quarkus and their dependencies — which remain under their own licences, and complying with those is your responsibility.

4. Our rights

The CamelBee website, the Initializer, the MCP server, the generator itself and the CamelBee name and logo remain ours. The open-source CamelBee framework libraries are licensed separately under the terms published in their repositories. You may not resell access to the Service or use it to operate a competing generation service.

5. Acceptable use

6. Availability, warranty and liability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and no specific uptime is promised. The Service and everything it generates are provided "as is". We do not warrant that generated code is fit for any particular purpose or suitable for production without your own review and testing — it is a starting point that you remain responsible for.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will normally warn you first.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and we will notify account holders by email of changes that materially affect them.
